Imagine being denied a credit card, car loan, or even a home loan because the potential lender doesn’t approve of what you have been purchasing using your credit cards, your store cards, or even your bank account! Believe it or not, it can happen.
Credit card companies, banks, and other lenders are increasingly using purchasing data to determine whether or not you are a good credit risk. Every time you swipe your card, write a check, or even use cash (if you use one of those little discount cards with the cash), that purchase is recorded and tracked some way, somewhere.
Of course, there are ways to keep those prying eyes out of your private business. Just use a prepaid card when you shop at places you’d rather keep to yourself… places like casinos, secondhand stores, marijuana / smoking shops, adult book stores, certain sites on the internet…anywhere that might cast you in a less than perfect light!
Heres a tip: A prepaid card is also a great way to LIMIT your spending when you go to the casino! You can’t lose what you don’t have access to while you’re there!
