Are there credit cards in every credit scoring range that are easier to get than others?  Absolutely.  A good or even an excellent credit score is not a guarantee that you’ll be accepted for every credit card offer for that category.

Different credit card companies often have very different credit criteria, and for whatever reason, your personal financial situation may not fit those criteria, and even with excellent credit, you may still not qualify.  That’s why it’s important to know what credit cards are easiest for every credit score.

You do know your credit score, don’t you?  If not, then you definitely need to find out exactly what your credit score is, and exactly what’s on your credit report.  Once you have that information, then you can choose offers based on your credit score:

  • Excellent Credit:  If your credit score is 750 or better, then you’ve got excellent credit, and these are the easiest credit cards to get based on your excellent credit.
  • Good Credit:  If your credit score is 700-749, then you’ve got good credit, and these are the easiest credit cards to get based on your good credit.
  • Fair Credit:  If your credit score is 650-699, then you’ve got fair credit, and these are the easiest credit cards to get based on your fair credit.
  • Bad Credit:  If your credit score is below 650, you probably already know that your credit is bad, but there are still credit cards you can get approved for.  These are the easiest credit cards to get for bad credit.
  • No Credit:  If you’ve never really had any credit, no loans, no credit cards, etc., and you’re just starting out, you’ll find that these are the easiest credit cards to get if you have no credit history.
